To protect the men who signed the Declaration of Independence, their names were initially kept private from the public. They would have been killed for treason if the US had not achieved independence from England.
It’s estimated that the US consumes 150 million hot dogs on the 4th of July. Many of those are eaten at an annual July 4th event: the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island.
